2026 UN Day & UN Night - A Celebration of Culture & Connection
On 19 June 2026, we are bringing our community together for UN Day and UN Night - an outdoor festival-style event of food, cultural performances, live music, activities and celebration of what global citizenship means at Indro. Building on the energy of the traditional students’ UN Day, from 3pm onwards the school gates open to invite in families, alumni and the wider community to join the celebrations.
UN Day Overview
With live music and cultural performances on the big outdoor stage, lots of activities, International Food Stalls and food trucks too, UN Day is a massive event. From 1pm to 3pm on the school oval, it is a students & staff only event. Students will want to get a UN Day Passport, which is the simplest way to do UN Day. UN Night Overview
From 3pm to 8pm, families, alumni & community members are all welcome to join the UN Night festivities on the school oval. Live music and cultural performances feature on the big outdoor stage, alongside free and low-cost activities to keep the family busy. Bring your picnic rug and settle in for a chill evening celebrating the 92 countries and cultures that make our Indro High community the amazing and diverse community it is. Students who have a UN Day Passport can continue to use their passport during this time. A program for families and alumni is coming here soon.
Volunteer & Donate
Do you have a skillset in Henna Artistry? Or towing trailers? Or are you able to supervise a stall at the event? Maybe you're able to donate a Gift Card from a local store for our Prize Draw? Or you'd prefer to donate money to the Battle of the Bands prize pool? We also need families to contribute their favourite recipe to the UN Day Community Cookbook. More details here.
