The Annual Trivia Night is back in 2025 with a twist! Year 7-12 Indro High Students are invited to join in this battle of fun & facts, alongside parents, carers & teachers.With a theme of Duos, Trios & Groups - the biggest question remains, just who will triumph in this trivia showdown?!

Location: Indooroopilly State High School, Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH)

Time: Meet & Mingle 5:00pm, Trivia 6 - 8:30pm

Deaf friendly: Two Auslan interpreters, questions on the big screen

Teams: 8 people per Table/Team

Table: Decorate your own table

Theme: Trios, Duos & Groups

Food: Must pre-purchase Tuckshop Meals. Order by 1 August 2025. BYO food also allowed

Drinks: **Alcohol-Free Event** Barista made coffee, soft drinks, juice and water available for purchase

Tickets: $15 per person.

50 / 50 Raffle: Look out for the launch of this raffle soon! To keep the trivia ticketing price accessible to all, we have included a raffle to help cover costs of this event & to fundraise. If you can afford to, we would love your contribution (purchasers must be 18+).

Be a part of the excitement and give back to our school P&C, with 50% of takings divided in prizes to lucky winners and 50% towards the Indro High P&C's charitable school projects.

Prizes: Team prizes for (1) Trivia Winners (2) Best Dressed Team and (3) Best Table Decoration.

TABLES & TICKETS

How can I make sure our Team members sit together?
Each Team/Table can seat 8 team members. Team members can either book individual tickets or book a table.

In both booking processes, please nominate an adult who will be the Table Contact Person for that table, and if you have one, a Team Name. We will be in contact with the Table Contact Person to make sure we have everyone on the right Tables/Teams. We need an adult’s details because we can’t collect and store students’ details - it’s ok if that adult happens to be sitting on another table!

If you want to send us any info about your Team Name, Table Contact Person or Team Members after you have booked, you can email us at trivianight@ishspandc.org.au.

We have a team of less than 8 people, can we still attend?
If you reach out to us at trivianight@ishspandc.org.au, we can help you find other teams to create a table of 8. We can assist to find your preferred year level to sit with, if this is important to you.  

Can students sit on their own table?
Tables can be made up of all students, all adults, OR a mixture! However all students attending must be supervised by a parent/carer ticket purchaser AND the Table Contact Person must be an adult - since we can’t collect student info.

One parent/carer can agree with other families to supervise up to 4 students, but it’s fine for those supervising to sit on a separate table if that’s your plan.

For example - 8 Indro High students want to come along and form their own team/sit on their own table. Two parents/carers have agreed to come along and supervise, but they will be joining their own table. All 10 attendees will need to buy tickets, the adults will be recorded as the Table Contact person, but it’s fine for them to be on a separate table.

With lots of different configurations - booking/organising could get tricky! So please just email us on  trivianight@ishspandc.org.au if you want to explain how your teams are meant to work after you’ve booked your tickets and we will help you sort it out.

I’m booking a table but don’t know who the team members will be yet. What do I do?
This is fine! Just write TBC if you don’t know the team members and then email us at trivianight@ishspandc.org.au when you know your team members.

How can I book more than one individual ticket?
Please complete the form for one individual and then add it to the cart. Then edit the form to change the name of the individual (and any other details) and click add to the cart again. Repeat until you have all individual tickets you wish to purchase. You can check in the cart to make sure you have all the tickets you wanted to buy. If you want to buy 8 tickets for a table you can do so via the Table Booking option.

We know this is a bit tricky but it’s the best we could do!

I would like to bring a student that does not attend Indooroopilly State High School, can they come along?
No, sorry. With tickets being limited, this event is organised for ISHS year levels 7 to 12 at ISHS.

Is this event open to the wider public?
No. With tickets being limited, ISHS P&C would like to give priority to parents/carers, students and staff at the school.

Can Indro High teachers and staff join in?
Absolutely - jump in and book your tickets.

Can Indro High students join in?
Absolutely! We are trialling a new format this year and the idea is to make this super fun for students. Get some friends together and book your tickets and if you’ve got any ideas or feedback for us - please pass this on through your parent/carer emailing us!

COSTUMES & TABLE DECORATION

What’s the theme?
This year’s Trivia theme is Duos, Trios and Groups. This idea came from the students and we reckon it offers huge creative potential for costumes and table decoration.

With 8 team members per table, you may need to mix it up with a few different ensembles or get creative and see what you come up with!

Does our team have to wear costumes?
We think it will add to the fun if your team does, but it’s not compulsory - it’s up to your team if they want to participate in the theme – we do have prizes for best costumes!

Do we need to decorate our table?
Last year’s table decorating really lifted the show, but it is optional whether your team wants to participate. We do have a prize for best decorated table!

When can we decorate the tables?
Doors will be open for table decoration from 4-5pm, Saturday 16 August 2025.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Consider challenging your creativity by reusing items or using recyclable items for costumes and decoration.

ACCESSIBILITY

Is this a deaf friendly event?
Yes, attendees requiring Auslan interpreters will be seated at the front of the hall for easy access to Auslan.


I require a disabled parking car park; do I need to book a space for this event?
Please email us at trivianight@ishspandc.org.au regarding a disabled park to reserve a disabled parking space.

FOOD & DRINK

What food is available for purchase?
The Tuckshop team has put together a great selection of hot food and cheese platters. You can order via the Buy Food booking link. Click on the drop down menu to make your selection. Prices range between $5 and $7. Last date for ordering Tuckshop items is 1 August 2025.

To order more than one item - select the first item you would like and click Add to Cart. Click the next item you would like and then Add to Cart and so on until you have ordered all you wish. You can increase the number of items via the cart if you need to. Then complete your purchase.

What food is available for purchase at the event?
Barista Coffee, drinks, and sweet treats will be available for purchase on the night. There may be a limited amount of hot food and cheese platters available, so pre-ordering is best!

What drinks are available for purchase?
This is an Alcohol-Free Event as students will be in attendance. Barista made coffee, soft drinks, juice and water will be available for purchase.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Whilst we encourage ordering Tuckshop food, we understand if patrons prefer to BYO. Please do not order takeaway food to be delivered onsite. If you BYO please restrict food to that that does not require microwaving.

NO ALCOHOL allowed.

NO GLASS with drinks. Plastic PLEASE.

Is there vegan, vegetarian, halal and special dietary options available with tuckshop catering on the night?
Yes. Please see the Tuckshop menu, which can be viewed in the “Buy Food” section of booking after clicking on the drop down menu.
